Traffic monitoring provided by a resident over a recent 14-day period recorded over 17,000 car movements, nearly 30% occurring at night, and over 1,200 heavy vehicles. Speed data shows that almost 2 in 5 cars are exceeding the 30kph limit. This data supports resident reports of high through traffic and suggest Meadowview Grove may be a suitable candidate for a pilot of the Quiet Streets Programme.
