That this Committee writes to the Minister for Education expressing concerns regarding the delay at providing temporary accommodation for Griffeen Community College and also, recognising the population increase and shortage of places, immediately enters discussions with the two existing primary schools in Adamstown with a view to commencing the building of further schools in the SDZ, the optimum solution which could include two junior and senior schools under the existing patrons.
That this Council requests Logainm.ie, the Irish Placenames Database, to change the spelling of "Baile Phámer/Palmerston" village, as a listed population centre in South Dublin, to its corrected and long-established spelling of Palmerstown, as formally voted for in the plebiscite almost five years ago; and if a statement can be made on the matter.
To ask the Manager to ensure that Palmerstown is spelt correctly in the voters register under its care as many residents were upset, in the recent by-election, to find that all the Litir Um Thoghcán communications were addressed as "Palmerston" rather than Palmerstown, despite the community having gone through the bureaucratic formalities to restore the correct spelling in a plebiscite some years ago.
To ask the Manager if the Council can ensure that internet access is reinstated at the Jennings Library, Palmerstown, as this has been unavailable for some time and it is advertised as one of the South Dublin Libraries, albeit in Partnership with Stewarts Care.
That the Council facilitates the provision of a bottle bank at a suitable location to service people living in Hillcrest, Dodsboro, The Paddocks, Shackleton, Woodview, Woodview Heights and Airlie Heights, with a preference for the Tesco shopping centre if this is possible; and if a statement can be made on the matter.
That the Chief Executive produce a report on the Tree Maintenance programme and an update on the delays this year in relation to estates in North Clondalkin and Palmerstown.
That the Chief Executive produce a report for the area committee on the Planned Maintenance programme for Balgaddy as agreed earlier this year.

To ask the Chief Executive if the council has yet furnished the names of prospective tenants from the housing list to Respond Housing Agency for the new builds at Palmerstown Avenue / Oval, Dublin 20.
And to ask if the council are aware of the expected date when tenants will be able to move in.
That the chief executive agrees to provide a report with a range of possibilities for the maintenance of the laneway leading from Glenvale estate in Lucan to the R136.
Including: increased public lighting, resurfacing works to the northern boundary of the lane to prevent groups loitering and to improve appearance while protecting the privacy of the houses within the glenvale estate.
