This Council Committee calls on the Manager to give an updated report to this Committee on the state and condition of road gulleys in this Committee area post the recent road gritting, outlining in the report if he proposes to introduce any immediate steps to resolve the likely problems that may arise due to this and other substances that have accumalated over the cold spell.

That this Committee thanks the staff of the Council who have worked without a break over the Christmas/New-year period to keep the roads open in the County and that the Manager outline what resources will be needed to repair roads in the Tallaght Central Area as a result of damage caused to the roads by the recent weather and if there is funds in the Council Budget to carry out this work.

That the Manager outline what can be done to regulate parking in the car park outside the shops at Fortfield Park without the introduction of paid parking. Shop owners have found an increasing number of cars are using the location as a park and ride facility.
