QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the Manager to indicate the compliance rate in the Tallaght Area with the NPPR tax introduced recently?"

REPLY:

The Council receives it's data in relation to owners of houses who are liable for payment of the NPPR from the Private Rental Tenancy Board's database

However some owners who were not on the PRTB datbase have also paid . In this regard, the overall total for houses in the Dublin 24 liable for the NPPR charge is 4,331

while the total paid todate is 4272 which equates to 98.64%
