“To ask the Manager if he would consider placing wooden bollards on the open space adjoining Deselby, as a means of preventing illegal and unauthorised parking, particularly by members of the travelling community, who repeatedly use this site as a temporary encampment, and given the recent spate of encampments at this location, if this matter can now be fast tracked by the Parks Department, and if the Parks Department have received a request from the Travellers Support Unit that such a project be undertaken, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
“To ask the Manager, in light of the difficulties that have been created for motorists accessing Fortunestown Way via Drumcara Avenue in Jobstown, right handed turning movements from Drumcara Avenue to Fortunestown Way in particular, if he would agree to amend or alter the wooden stakes that were recently installed on Fortunestown Way and while understanding the need for this project, if a slight alteration of the planks could now be put in place so that cars coming from Drumcara Avenue would not be obstructed in attempting to access the very busy and dangerous Fortunestown Way, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
“To ask the Manager if the Parks Department intend reinstating the bordering hedges and trees between Verschoyle Drive and Carrigmore Estate, given the instances of vandalism at this location, and if he is aware of groups of youths using this open space for drinking and anti-social behaviour, and if the Parks Department have considered blocking the access between Carrigmore and Saggart Abbey as a means of stopping and deterring anti-social behaviour in the area, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
“To ask the Manager if he could set out exactly what is proposed in 2008 for the Sean Walsh Park in Old Bawn and if he could set out a timeframe involved for the construction of a playground and installation of bridges as part of this Programme, and if he could set out when work on this latest phase within Sean Walsh Park is likely to commence, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"That this Committee once again calls on the Manager to re-instate the broken Basketball post in the Grounds of the Fettercairn Coummunity centre as has been agreed to twice over the past year as local children and youths are increasingly frustrated as they feel they are being ignored as a result of their age".

"That the Manager strongly considers changing to an alternative provider of Green bin recycling in the Tallaght area given the high level of complaints and continuing difficulties experienced by residents and the Council with the operation of the Oxigen collection."
“That this commitee reccomends a freeze on all applications for fire road licences in the dublin mountain area under the control of this county pending a review of operation of this by the environment, planning and forrestry services to prevent the abuse of this by scurrillous developers who are using this facility for waste disposal.”

"That this Committe calls on the Manager to discuss the now farcical situation with the still vacant Community Facility on Deerpark Road despite the Facility being succesfully snagged in 2005 and despite numerous representations from Circle VHA and local reps and despite numerous promises from the Council on it's handover to Kiltipper Park Management Company on behalf Circle VHA".
That this Committe be presented with an up-date on the proposed replacement of St. Muirins House,Avonbeg, Tallaght.
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to update the Committee on the proposed boundary treatment including disabled access between Cushlawn and Deerpark Estates and to include in this update the possibility of securing the Parking Area for Deerpark Lodge by gating it as there are significant anti-social and criminal activities taking place there at present which could be alleviated by gating the area".
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to ensure that the excavation and landscaping works at Cushlawn Walk currently on hold are re-commenced as a matter of urgency while the weather is suitable for the works".
