To ask the manager to write to Coillte and ask them to address the fact that many users of Hellfire Club are being inconvenienced by the recent closures of the car parks due to antisocial behaviour.

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange contact with the R.P.A in view of the apparent lack of maintenance of landscaping along the Luas line between Kingswood & Kilnamanagh."
That consideration be given to the establishment, in County Hall or in another appropriate building within the city centre of Tallaght, of a venue in which the civil registration of marriages may take place, given that the marriage provisions of the Civil Registration Act, 2004 have now commenced.

That this Committee calls on the Manager with regard to the fact that the extension of the LUAS to Garter Lane is a substantial public transport gain, it is proposed that a variation procedure be initiated to provide for the re-zoning as follows:
That the Golf Village development at Fortunestown Lane be zoned to permit planning applications to increase Class 1 Retails space by way of mezzanine floors, change of use Class 2 and 4 to Class 1, the reduction of restaurant areas and other minor adjustments - Plot M on Map.
These changes will not alter the already approved footprint of the buildings.

That the Manager immediately investigates the visual impact and environmental impact of neighbourhood shops within Council estates with a view to assisting or requiring owners or tenants to significantly improve them.
That this Committee supports the residents of Saggart Village in their opposition to the sale of the Village Green to facilitate the development set out in planning application SD06A/0636 which has been refused by SDCC Planning Dept but upheld on appeal to An Bord Pleanala recently.

To ask the Manager without delay to provide parking restriction markings in the vicinity of the Mary Mercer Centre along Montpelier Walk and Kiltalown Way as the current chaotic parking and regular obstructions of traffic including buses are leading to dangerous situations in this area and could lead to road traffic accidents?
To ask the Manager to immediately provide comprehensive road name signs at the entrances to the Allenton estate in order to assist access by Emergency services?
To ask the Manager to report on the view of cyclists that our cycle paths are unsuitable in that the lips are too high, and that cyclists using them must give way to other traffic, and can he also report generally on the making and implementation of policy on the encouragement of safe cycling as a mode of transport in the area of this Committee.
To ask the Manager to include Hazelgrove in a traffic calming cell.
To ask the manager to include pedestrian crossings on Kiltipper Road and Kiltipper Way especially in the vicinity of Marlfield Mall.
"To ask the Manager to have investigated as a matter of urgency the proposal for the installation of a filter light at the junction of Old Bawn Road and Mountain Park, as one travels from Tallaght Village, which would alleviate traffic congestion at this location and also reduce the number potential traffic accidents?"

That the Manager gives an update with respect to the problems surrounding the new sound barrier wall constructed as part of the Outer Ring road project in the vicinity of the Kilmartin estate - to outline what proposals he has in mind to address the issues raised by residents acknowledging that problems have already arisenfor the community because of this wall.
"That this Committee discuss the recent changes in traffic calming measures on Castletymon Road with specific reference to the junction of Castletymon Road & Tymonville Road."
That urgent action be taken by Roads Dept to resolve outstanding issues in relation to the care and maintenance of the Firhouse Road area from Ballycullen Road to Scoil Carmel.
That this Committee supports urgent action by the Roads Department in relation to Ard Scoil Mhuire where ongoing construction work to the rear of the school is posing a serious hazard to the children attending it - this Committee calls for the immediate construction of a pedestrian pathway accross the green open space to allow children walk safely to school.
