To ask the Manager if the Council can assist residents in Saggart Village with the refurbishment of the community noticeboard which is to the right of the church in the village. A local group would be prepared to take responsibility for the noticeboard but would need the council staff's skill and expertise to get the board updated. They would like to have a map of Saggart on the noticeboard illustrating the many historic sites in the area. They are very impressed with the material which is available on the council website in relation to historic villages and Saggart in particular. Can they be assisted with this?
To ask the Manager if a bridge be built to give access to Rathcoole Park from Saggart at the Swiftbrook Paper Mills?
To ask the Manager if the land is not in the ownership of the Council, who owns the land outside the Water Tower on the Monastery Road in Clondalkin and can the council ensure that they maintain the grass verge at this location?
Housing Construction and Procurement Report
To ask the Manager to examine the area around the Spar shop and the HSE Clinic on the Nangor Road, Clondalkin with a view to assessing whether it is safe in terms of pedestrian access? Residents have complained to me that the fact that there is no proper footpath at this location and that the street lighting is very poor renders this location unsafe for pedestrians.
To ask the Manager to install proper unbreakable fencing at Palmerstown Woods Bus Stop? Currently youths are causing Anti Social Behaviour at this area.
To ask the Manager to clean up the leaves at the end of the road (address supplied) in James Connolly Park estate?

Residents in Castle Grange Estate and Grange View Road were delighted to hear that they are on the list for traffic calming measures, but despondent when they realised that they could be on the list for a long time. To ask the Manager how long are they likely to have to wait?
That the Manager outlines by way of a report what maintenance arrangements are in place and what significant work has been carried out this year regarding the upkeep and presentation of the Grand Canal Green route particularly litter & graffiti removal.
That the Manager present a report on the issue of the emptying of the litter bins on the canal path greenway and the removal of graffiti from the lamp standards and benches on the canal path. This issue has not been addressed, despite it being raised at numerous meetings. Bins are overflowing and are often set alight. If the council has contracted out the emptying of these bins who overseas this contract and ensures that the work is being carried out.
BICYCLE PARKING STANDS IN CLONDALKIN ELECTORAL AREA
That the Manager present an update on the unoccupied houses in St Brigid's Cottages. As some of them are clearly derelict, could the process be commenced to find the owners as is possible under the Derelict Sites Act.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to take immediate action to make safe the end of the existing footpath from St Aongus Crescent to Castletymon Shopping Centre, at the rear and side of Castletymon Library. The uneven and worn tarmac is a health and safety risk to the public using that footpath, which becomes swamped and slippery after any rainfall.
That the Manager present a report on the feasibility of allowing the Clondalkin Tidy Towns group to use the house beside the Intercultural Centre on Tower Road in Clondalkin as a store and a base for their work.
That the Manager present a report on the feasibility of using permeability funding to construct a cycle and walkway to link Knockmeenagh Road with the Luas Station at the Red Cow Station via St Bridget's Cottages.

To ask the Manager if there is a survey being carried out on signage in the Clondalkin area? A lot of the signage is in need of re painting or replacement and some needs to be cleaned and have graffiti removed. Should signs in need of attention be reported on a case by case basis?
That the Manager present a report on the boundary treatment at the Valhalla site. This report to include an update on time frame for the installation of a boundary treatment in line with what was promised.
