QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to provide details of the recent flooding on the R114 near Bohernabreena Pitch and Putt club, and to state if protective or preventative measures can be put in place to deal with flooding in this area in the future?"

REPLY:

The recent flooding of the R114 Road at the Bohernabreena Pitch and Putt Club was due to the reduced capacity in the local surface water sewers due to tree root infestation we suspect. A CCTV Survey of these sewers will be undertaken and any blockages found will be removed.
