QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"With reference to Motion No. 8 at the September 2012 to ask the Manager if the Council has had any interaction with the stakeholders of the Muintir na Tire Hall, Lucan and if she will make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:
The initial contact with the Munitir Na Tire Hall was made in the context of assessing possible available community space in the Lucan area.  It is understood that this project, like many others,  may be going through a difficult financial time at present.
A member of the community team has been assigned to progress this item with the objective of enhancing the available community space in the Lucan area. A progress report will be generated when this work is completed.
