REPORT:

The Willsbrook Road Cycle Track Scheme has received approval for design and construction in stages west of and including Grange Castle Road junction . Stage 1 is currently out to Tender and construction is expected to start early in the new year. As part of the detailed design the Grange Castle junction will be examined to optimise all modes of transport through the junction. The design will be in accordance with the NTA Cycle Manual and the requirements of the Roads and Traffic Department. The Grange Castle Road between Willsbrook/Ballyowen and Lucan Road junctions does not form part of the approved Willsbrook Road Cycle Track scheme but will be considered in the context of the overall pedestrian and cycle movements along the Grange Castle Road corridor
