That this Committee supports the introduction of a pilot laneway cleaning schedule in the Dublin 12 area under the remit of this Committee along the lines of the street cleansing schedule; that the pilot project be designed and implementation begun in advance of the June Area Committee meeting; and that a review of the pilot be carried out in early 2014 to examine its effectiveness in combating dumping, improving visual amenity and providing a public service to the residents of the area.
