QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

To ask the Manager what arrangements are in place for having the bins in the Clondalkin area emptied when the usual worker is on leave? 

REPLY:

In the event that a member of staff is unavailable to empty the bins in the Clondalkin area due to leave arrangements, illness etc, the duties are fulfilled by another member of staff from the Public Realm Section.  A system of replacement operatives is in place to ensure a continuous delivery of service.
