Cathaoirleach's Business
That this Council continues to work in partnership with Active South Dublin, the Active Cities Officer, and Adamstown Community College to progress plans for the shared community use of the school’s basketball courts outside of school hours. This initiative, led by Active South Dublin and the Active Cities Officer in collaboration with the school, requires the installation of fencing to secure the court area and ensure safe access without compromising the security of the school building. The school has committed to funding the necessary works and is now seeking permission to install the fence.
To ask the Chief Executive if there are any plans for any new fire stations in the Clonburris or Adamstown Strategic Development Zones (SDZ)?
To ask the Chief Executive how many habitats for mining bees he has created under the South Dublin County Council biodiversity action plan?
That this Area Committee agree to write to the principals of all secondary schools within this LEA asking them to ban scooters from school grounds for the safety of students, teachers and members of the public.
Can the Chief Executive please provide an update on the repair of the footpath running across the green from 165 Woodlawn Park Grove, Firhouse to the Ballycullen Road, just above Monalea Grove. This footpath was provided for in the programme of works previously.
