Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) are independent housing providers with responsibility for the management and sustainment of their own tenancies. As part of this function, AHBs have their own dedicated housing management and tenancy support staff who work directly with tenants to address tenancy-related issues, provide advice and assistance, and support the sustainment of tenancies wherever possible. Tenants experiencing difficulties are encouraged to engage with their designated Housing Officer or tenancy support staff at the earliest opportunity to access appropriate advice, guidance and support.
