That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to confirm his commitment to further positive development of Dodder Valley Park, Old Bawn, Tallaght and in reporting to the motion will the Chief Executive note the view of many in the local community that these plans should include attention to the Bridge Weir, Park Ranger patrols, the provision of information boards displaying the Park By-Laws, urgent repairs to the Basketball Court, attention to the Dodder River and nets on the Tennis Court. Will he also confirm what recent consultation he has had with the local community in respect of the Dodder Park.
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm plans to deal with the Tree population on the Tallaght By-pass which was the subject of the recent public meeting at St Aengus Community Centre in Tallaght and will he also confirm any proposals to further consult the residents of Glenview Estate in the matter?"
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on Frances Fitzgerald TD the Minister for Justice to review the policing arrangements for Tallaght, Dublin 24 given that our major population centre has suffered much crime in recent times and asking the Minister to confirm plans to allocate additional manpower, vehicles and resources to the station and also state if there are any plans for a second Garda station in Tallaght and also when the long promised re-development of the current Garda station will be undertaken.
"To ask the Chief Executive if he would detail what twinning arrangements are currently in place and if he would confirm the last contacts made in this regard?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to update the Committee on his plans to employ additional School Wardens in the Tallaght area and confirm the proposed locations in that regard and will he also confirm if this additional staff will mean that no school is left without a School Warden on specific days as has happened a number of times recently in Fettercairn?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to present a further update on issues raised at recent deputations meetings by Kingswood Heights Residents Association and were the subject of business of the last two meetings of the Tallaght Area Committee and in responding will he appreciate the need to deal effectively with the various matters to the satisfaction of the local community?"
That this Tallaght Area Committee welcomes the commitment to build a new Stand at Tallaght Stadium and asks the Chief Executive to confirm the schedule now being followed, the budget for the proposal and also state his plans for consultation in the matter.
"To ask the Chief Executive to present a report outlining the success of the recent South Dublin Tourism presentation and networking event held in Tallaght Stadium and will he confirm how he believes the event will enhance the Tourism strategy for Tallaght?"
"That this Area Committee welcomes the planned upgrade of the R120 between Adamstown and Polly Hops but notes the concerns and queries raised by Lucan Pitch & Putt Club and calls on the Chief Executive to:
- provide safe pedestrian crossing points in the vicinity of the club both during construction and upon completion;
- provide sufficient temporary parking for both Club members & visitors during construction; and
- support the club in acquiring additional ground for parking upon completion of works.
"That this Area Committee congratulates Esker Celtic FC on their ongoing contribution to community-based, inclusive football in the Lucan area; and calls on the Chief Executive to provide a detailed update on:

- Works carried-out or planned following the on-site meeting held in June 2015;
- The Club’s request to provide a fenced-off compound for storage of goalposts in the extension of Hermitage Park next to Mount Andrew;
- A response to correspondence issued by the club to this Council on 20th April in relation to a proposal for drainage works in the extension of Hermitage Park next to Mount Andrew;
- Plans to extend the car-parking area at Hermitage Park."

To ask the Chief Executive to provide a breakdown of the number of residential units procured by SDCC since 2014 in each electoral area by way of each of Part V and procurements on open market.
"To call on the Chief Executive to carry out a full audit of footpath and pedestrian facilities in Hillcrest with a view to including a programme of repairs and improvements in the next roads programme."
