To ask that the Manager give a report on the future of House Purchase Schemes for this Local Authority from 2013?
To ask that the Manager provide details on the projected number of units that are to be refurbished within the Energy Rating programme in 2013 and provide a schedule of these proposed works?

Motions
Ag féachaint ar thairiscint a ritheadh i nDeireadh Fómhair i mbliana maidir le hurraíocht ó thionscal na ndeochanna alcóil do chúrsaí spóirt, go ndéanfaidh an Chomhairle seo cosc a chur i bhfeidhm ar fhograíocht alcóil ar Áitribh na Comhairle sa mhéid is féidir nuair a n-imreoidh daoine faoi aois orthu.
Having regard to the motion passed in October this year having regard to sponsorship from the drinks industry for sport, that this Council shall impose a ban on alcohol advertising on Council premises as far as possible where under-age persons are present.
That this Council welcomes the Government's stated intention to put in place a probationary period for new Tenants
That this Council welcomes the proposal announced by Government as part of Budget 2013 to create 3,000 places in a new Local Authority Social Employment Scheme; and requests the Manager to outline the options being considered by this council to avail of these social employment scheme places, in particular with respect to ongoing efforts to enhance our public realm.
That South Dublin County Council requests that the County Manager write to An Taoiseach expressing support in general for the work of the recently convened Government Constitutional Working Group and welcomes the Taoiseach’s commitment to put a number of questions by way of a referendum to the Irish People later this year, and given that this is the European Year of the Citizen, this Council requests that An Taoiseach provide the lead for other EU Countries and include the following (or similar) amendment(s) to the relevant article(s) of the Constitution:
Following each general election the Taoiseach and Cabinet selected by the elected members of the Dail will, within five weeks of being elected -
a) Prepare a Five Year Plan to be called The Programme for Government, or “Programme” and after it has been ratified by the Dail will be put to the people by way of a preferendum in accordance with procedures.
b) The Government will act in a caretaker capacity until the result of the preferendum is confirmed.
c) On acceptance of the “Programme” by a minimum of three-fifths of those eligible and voting on the preferendum the Government is considered confirmed by the electorate and it implements the “Programme”
d) If the “Programme” is rejected there shall be a general election, if elements of the programme, not exceeding 30% of the total, are rejected by the people the Government shall revise those elements and put them back out for a further preferendum at which point a simple majority in favour will suffice.
e) When the “Programme” is accepted by the people, the Government shall faithfully implement it and should it find that any part of the “Programme” is impossible to implement, it shall prepare an alternative strategy and place it before the people for ratification where a simple majority will suffice.
f) Where the Government deviates from the “programme” the President, having consulted the Council of State, shall either (a) direct An Taoiseach to rectify the situation within 21 days, or, (b) dissolve the Dail and a general election shall follow.
g) Where the Government, on reaching the mid-term of its mandate, calculates that it cannot achieve 90% of the agreed “Programme”, shall carry out a review and put an amended “Programme”, once approved by the Dail, to a preferendum where a simple majority in favour will suffice. If the revised “Programme” is rejected by the people a general election shall take place.
If the motion is passed, the Manager is requested to copy it to all City and County Councils and to the Constitutional Working Group.
That South Dublin County Council welcomes the publication by the Government of the Climate Change Adaptation Framework, notes the emphasis in the Framework on the role and obligations of Local Authorities in regard to policies and measures to develop Climate Change Adaptation Strategies, and requests the Manager to make a Report on the Council's response to the Adaptation Framework, including how she intends to include the Framework in the review of the County Development Plan, and the review of the Council's Climate Change policy.
That this Council extends an invite to "SPUNOUT" requesting that they make a presentation about their organisation to the members in an agreed format / setting
That this Council notes the recent CSO report “Census 2011: Profile 10 Door to Door – Commuting in Ireland” and requests the Manager to prepare an assessment, based on the data contained in this CSO report, on commuter patterns in our county including reliance on various modes of transport and how this has changed over recent years with reference to similar and relevant data from previous censuses or other sources; and to identify any key conclusions emerging from this assessment, for discussion with the elected members.
