That the Manager provide an “Illegal Dumping” sign in front of No’s 1 & 3 Brookview Way forthwith.

Having regard to the survey result of the Irish Business Against Litter  that it is considered that Tallaght is 'Moderately Littered' , what plan or action is the County Council arranging so that Tallaght will achieve the 'Clean to European norms' category next year?"

That a report be provided listing the estates within the remit of this Committee which will benefit from the FREE WEE collection dates and that the Manager will ensure that there will be equitable treatment of all areas, and that those who did not receive the service in 2010 will do so in 2011.

That this Committee expresses concern at the situation in relation to fire services in the Tallaght area such as the size of the Tallaght Fire District, the lack of specialist vehicles and the substandard facilities in the fire station. This Committee will send a letter of support to the trade union representatives of the fire-fighters. This Committee will also articulate the above concerns to Dublin City Council and in particular to the Department of Environment and Local Government. 

That this Committee supports the promotion and, where financially feasible, the extension of organised activities during the Hallowe'en period, and in particular on Hallowe'en night, to the entire area under the remit of this Committee.

1. What plan has the Council to carry out essential refurbishment of the changing rooms at the public centre at Beechfield Park Walkinstown Dublin 12  this year ?

2. Would the Council put in place an appropriate and professional management system to Council property  ( e.g. employ a person on an employment scheme) so that the centre may be used on a broader and beneficial basis to the people of the area?

3. When can the Council finish these actions above?"

That the Manager commit to providing essential Community facilities that include an Astropark and a Playground for the concerned Residents of Brookview Estate.

That the manager continues with the practice of  painting anti dog fouling signs like the ones I recently observed in Tymon Park, and that this initiative be extended to the Public footpaths.
