"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the erection of gates at 7 and 8 Cushlawn Place as the tenants are experiencing large scale anti-social activity in their front and back gardens as a result of the design of the cul-de-sac, while taking into consideration every other housing unit on Cushlawn Place has gates".
This Council Committee calls on the manager to investigate and review the current social housing transfer list system where many tenants have been waiting years for an offer and submit a new updated system as soon as possible
That the Manager gives an update on the progress and the projected delivery of the central heating and window replacement programme in the Tallaght area.

To ask the Manager to immediately address the unkempt grass verges and what appears to be wasteland surrounding the Tallaght Leisure Centre, bearing in mind that the outer appearance of the centre if it is negative has an extremely detrimental affect on the usage of the facility which is not in the interest of the Council, in addition to review the safety of the carpark in the facility in relation to the lack of pedestrian routes through it and the number of children who are users of the facility?
"To ask the Manager what contacts and preparations have been made by the Community Department with others to ensure the Tallaght St Patrick's day Parade is a success in 2009 following on from the motion passed eight months ago at this Committee and the commitments given as a result of the passing of that motion?"

This committee calls for improvement in cleansing and in the inclusion of litterbins in the carpark of Castletymon Library.
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to report on the matter of litter fines being issued to residents for having their bin lids open".
This Councill Committee in view of the ongoing problem of falling leaves blocking drains and making footpath slippery calls on the manager in conjunction with colleagues in the environment section to intoduce a scheme where organised local residents can dispose of green waste that they collect and gather in their respective areas.
