REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAVELLER ACCOMMODATION PROGRAMME

The following is the current position on developments at various stages of delivery throughout the Tallaght Area of the County.

Fortunestown	10 Group Houses –	Completed & Occupied	Residents moved into scheme in  Dec. 2006.
Stocking Lane	10-bay RCP	Construction	Delivery expected early January 2009
Rathcoole	10 GH	Pre-part 8	Development on hold pending completion of roadworks. Pre-part 8 drawings being drafted
Turnpike	3 GH	Pre-part 8	Part 8 report currently being prepared for December Council Meeting.
Belgard Road	10 units		Formal letter requesting the provision of land to redevelop the Residential Caravan Park at Belgard Road to issue to Governing Body of Tallaght I.T. following meeting between Council and members of the Governing Body on 17th November 2008.

South Dublin County Council's Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2009-2013 was published on the 22nd October 2008, and has been circulated to all Councillors, and is avaliable on-line at www.sdcc.ie .The Draft Programme is now at public consultation phase and the final date for submissions is 22nd December 2008.
