"To ask the Manager to review pedestrian safety from the Belfry estate in Citywest across the Citywest Road, there are significant increases in pedestrian movements in this area due to the existence of the Citywest shopping centre with no provision having been made for pedestrians to walk to and from this District Centre all along the eastern side of the N82?"

This committee calls on the manager to resolve the danger that exists when right-turning cars, on entering Firhouse Community College, are narrowly avoiding collision with traffic using the inner bus lane.

This Committee calls on the manager to give an updated report  on the reinstatment of the footpath between Newhall Court and Jobstown and in view  of the ongoing difficulties being experienced by  local residents agrees to prioritise these works

This committee calls for the inclusion of a right filter lane on Castletymon Road on the approach to Tallaght Main Road.

That this committee calls on the Manager to immediately review the deplorable traffic congestion situation for residents who live on both sides of Phase 3 of the outer ring roads, in Brookfield, Jobstown, Fettercairn and Springfield - to rectify without delay any unnecessary signal shortcomings in order to address the appalling tailbacks being experienced in these areas at peak times

This committee condemns the fictional use, by an author, of a Tallaght place name, to depict actual criminal events that took place outside of this County. Further, this committee resolves write to the author in question to communicate this condemnation and the negative implications of the author's action.

That this committee seeks an update regarding the progress of the Planning Department's investigation into ongoing flooding at Hunter's Hall and that the manager report on the leaks on the eminating from the piping at this location and as to what works the builder has to carry out to bring a resolution to the matter.

That this Committee discuss the continued presence of a Telecommunications Support Mast at 1 Cookstown Cottages, Cookstown Lane, with specific reference to the recent Council's decision to refuse an application for exempted development status for such a structure (Reference number EDO8/0008).
