Questions
"To ask the Chief Executive to note that at February’s Area Committee meeting we were informed that path defects not included in the works programme but considered dangerous would be examined on an individual basis. Defects that were seen as trip hazards would be reviewed on a scale of 0 to 5 and dealt with accordingly. Since that meeting I have submitted several such trip hazards for review and was told that this rating system did not exist. Please update?"

Motions
"That the Chief Executive takes steps and outlines an ongoing plan of measures designed to reduce the unacceptable level of dog fouling in parts of Knocklyon - specifically the route from Castlefield footbridge to Supervalu along the footpaths and that this approach includes the introduction of additional signage and monitoring by dog wardens."
"That this Council agree to erect dog fouling signs on the Grange Road, Tara Hill and Longwood Estate. A lot of parents bring their dogs to the Loreto school mornings and afternoon and there is never a day when myself and my daughter don't have to avoid dog poo. The bin at the corner of Longwood and Grange Road was one day surrounded by poo filled bags which was even more disgusting than the poo itself as they couldn't biodegrade."
"That the Chief Executive consider the following public green spaces suitable locations for dog stencils - the public space between the two Monalea estates in Firhouse and the area in front of the Gaelscoil Knocklyon. With the backing of the relevant residents' association I think that this should be made possible."

"That the Chief Executive compels Irish Water and/or its agents to remove the red paint used by them in the installation of water meters in housing estates in the RTT Area. Irish Water claims the paint washes away within a month, but there are estates in the RTT Area still covered in the paint three months later."

Can the manager please advise on additional security measures, such as higher fences/ lighting/ camera?"

Motions
"That the Committee agrees that the planting as originally promised for the Dargle Wood cycle path and pedestrian way be provided as a matter of urgency."
"That the Chief Executive respond that in January 2014 I tabled a motion seeking that all green spaces within our area be collated, that an assessment be made and a report prepared for this meeting confirming that the maximum use is being made of the space and indeed, highlighting where better use could be made of some spaces. This reply to this question on the last occasion was so vague as to be unclear and I’m now repeating my request. If we had this information along with the dimensions of each space we would have a better understanding of our open spaces and in turn we could be sure that proper and best use of those spaces is being made. In so providing, please also can you provide details of the sports clubs and groups within our area currently seeking accommodation."
"That this Council would install a pathway around Greentrees Park in Perrystown."
"That this committee recognises the value of public amenities in our Parks and calls on the OPW to re-consider opening the public toilets in St Enda's Park to align with the park opening times. With the Summer evenings coming, many users of this lovely park are unaware that the external public toilets located adjacent to the museum close when the coffee shop closes yet the park remains open in Summer later than the coffee shop. Public facilities are essential to all our Park visitors and we ask that the OPW consider the requests of our residents to allow the external toilet facilities to be open to the public when the park is open."
"That the Chief Executive organises a meeting before the next ACM with Knocklyon United to clarify the up to date position in relation to development of Kennedy's Field and all other matters pertaining to the Club."
