MOTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"That the Chief Executive organises a meeting before the next ACM with Knocklyon United to clarify the up to date position in relation to development of Kennedy's Field and all other matters pertaining to the Club."

REPORT:

The Council has had a number of meetings with the three clubs (Knocklyon Utd., Bros. Pearse AC, Ballyboden St. Endas) – both individually and together - who use this area of the Dodder Valley. No further meeting is necessary at this stage as the Council is considering a number of options that will facilitate the ambitions of the clubs and within the constraints imposed by the availability of suitable land. When a proposal has been drafted it will be discussed with the Elected Members and with each of the clubs for agreement.
