MOTION NO. 8

MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Committee agrees that the planting as originally promised for the Dargle Wood cycle path and pedestrian way be provided as a matter of urgency."

REPORT:

The planting of a hedgerow to the rear of the boundary walls of the houses at Dargle Wood has commenced.  Further work will continue in the Autumn of 2015 to complete the agreed works.  Where there are sites of existing significant vegetation that would provide security for the houses and that have significant biodiversity potential: these sites will remain undisturbed and no hedge planting will take place.
