That this Committee while acknowledging the Managers previous commitment is very concerned regarding pedestrian safety along Monastery Road particularly in the vicinity of Round Tower GAA Club grounds and strongly urge the manager to make a pedestrian crossing and/or traffic calming between the library and Woodford Hill roundabout a priority in the very short term.
That the Committee calls for remediation of the footpath and that the overgrown shrubbery is cut back along the footpath on New Nangor Road from the Ninth Lock Road junction on the canal side.

That this Committee commends the Manager and all his staff who work so hard to ensure that Corkagh Park is a fabulous facility and is maintained to the highest standard. There is always something new and the people of Clondalkin are delighted to have the best park in the country on their doorstep.

That the Manager reaffirms his support for the Clondalkin Tidy Towns group by ensuring that watering contracts will cover hanging baskets along with planting at ground level and in the boxes located around the village? (as per Sept 2012 LAC)
That this Committee expresses its regret that the ongoing issue of litter bins overflowing on a regular basis in and around Clondalkin Village is not being tackled and calls on the Manager to address same in an effort to support the incredible work being carried out by the Clondalkin Tidy Towns volunteers.
