QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

To ask the Manager when will the Clondalkin Skate Park open and when does he envisage an opening day taking place?

REPLY:

Construction of the skate park has been effectively completed. A meeting is being arranged with the contractor to agree the time frame for the hand over of the completed skate park to the Council. The handover is subject to the completion of a couple of minor items of work. Once these works have been satisfactorily completed and the skate park has been handed over to the Council, it will be made available for use. 

An Official Opening of the new skate park will be arranged in due course.
