MOTION: Councillor T. Delaney

That the Manager reaffirms his support for the Clondalkin Tidy Towns group by ensuring that watering contracts will cover hanging baskets along with planting at ground level and in the boxes located around the village? (as per Sept 2012 LAC)

REPORT:

Hanging baskets will be erected in Clondalkin this year and the maintenance of the baskets will be included in the contract. This contract does not include watering of other areas of planting due to capacity issues. However the Council will discuss options with the Clondalkin Tidy Towns regarding the watering of planted areas.
