"To ask the Manager to indicate the procedure for arranging the removal of graffiti from the wall on the inside of the Luas track on Bothar Katharine Tynan - this wall is currently out of bounds for SDCC Graffiti crew. There is longstanding graffiti in the vicinity of Fettercairn Horse Project and along the entire boundary wall/fence of Fettercairn estate and it appears Luas have no concern about this or respect for the local community by not arranging the timely removal of this?"
"To ask the Manager to give a report on the poor condition of litter bins, bus shelter and service units on the Brookfield Road given no action whatsoever has been taken since this matter was discussed 2 months ago at the Tallaght area committee?"
"To ask the manager to contact the owners of the Burmah garage site in relation to cleaning the graffiti that has been sprayed over a large area of a number of the out buildings and on the hoarding that surrounds the site?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange that the dog warden service has a more visible presence in the Firhouse / Ballycullen area of Tallaght South Ward. Following an upsurge in dog ownership in the area, that signs could be put up in relation to the issue of cleaning up after dogs, the wearing of muzzles, the necessity of having dogs on leads etc. Also could the dog warden service be more proactive in the enforcement of the law in this regard?"

That this Committee consider a report on a public realm improvement scheme to be initiated in the Limekiln/St James'/Temple Manor area as proposed at the January ACM.
That this Committee, while acknowledging the excellent work carried out by the Litter Wardens and Cleansing Crews calls on the manager to arrange for the removal of graffiti from lamp posts, utility boxes and walls in the Perrystown, Whitehall road and Dangan area which have become an eyesore for the community.

That this Council prepares a comprehensive long-term plan with regard to the disposal of asbestos from houses (garages, especially) in this constituency for the years ahead.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to ensure that householders or landlords who continually discard old household furniture, mattresses etc, in the front garden or driveway of their properties, are duly warned by the County Litter Wardens regarding the proper disposal of such items and fines issued in the cases where this warning is ignored.

"To ask the Manager to consider replacing any broken preventative wooden fencing to the front of Swiftbrook estate in order to enhance and significantly improve the visual appearance of the area?"
"Would the Manager make a report regarding when he will action take regarding my motion at the December Area Committee, and a question asked at the January meeting, regarding the need for urgent maintenance to be carried out on the junction of the footpaths at the rear of Castletymon Library. The tarmac is badly eroded, constantly flooded and full of mud and is placing pedestrians at risk of slipping or falling while using this area, as these two foothpaths are the only pedrestrian access to Castletymon Shopping Centre from the St Aongus and Tymon North estates?"
Would the manager make a report to this Council regarding the current position of availability of funding for the provision of the new playground in Tymon Park. Would the Manager also report if he is aware of the campaign re "The Vanished Playground" and outline any meetings or correspondance that may have been held with the campaign organisers.

That this Committee asks for an update on the report given to this Committee on the Tallaght Sustainable Energy Committee programme at the October 2012 ACM.
"This Committee views with concern any complaints that involves unfinished or poor quality work that some elderly/ disabled persons have reported following works carried out under the Housing Adaption Scheme. While recognising that the contract is between the individual and the Contractor, call on the Manager to provide a report on the number of complaints recieved and outline what supports can be provided to individuals who are left with shoddy and disastrous results"
That this Committee notes with serious concern the announcement by the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government of substantial cuts to housing adaptation grants for older people and those who are disabled; that a report be provided on the uptake of these grants by those in this area in 2011 and 2012; that a preliminary report be issued on how these cuts will affect grants in the area under the remit of this committee for 2013; and that a full report on the impact of these proposed cuts be made to the April Council meeting.
