QUESTION: Councillor B. Lawlor

"To ask the Manager if he can report on the number of tenants' houses/flats which have had replacement windows/doors fitted under the Windows Replacement Programme in 2012 and 2013 to date in the Tallaght South  Electoral Area?"

REPLY:

The window replacement programme commenced in 2010 and since that time 550 houses countywide have had windows/doors replaced, 294 of these were in the Tallaght Area, which represents 53% of the overall replacements. 9 have been replaced this year and 13 are in progress.  There are still 500  on the waiting list in this area, 350 of these are graded 5.  It is anticipated that in the region of 90 will be replaced in this area this year based on previous years' figures.  Listed below is the breakdown of the replacements for the last three years:
