"To ask the Manager if he would consider establishing a pedestrian crossing on the Ballycullen Avenue, allowing pedestrians to access the shops and local services coming from the Woodlawn Park Avenue area of Firhouse and given the proximity of the local national school and a local church and given the fact that a dangerous bend exists on this road, if positive consideration would be given to this proposal to establish such a pedestrian facility on this stretch of the road, which is clearly dangerous and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if plans are now in place to introduce traffic calming on the newly established road between The Belfry and Deselby and given the concerns of residents of The Belfry about speeding and the clear need for traffic calming measures along this new road, if he would agree to consider this proposal positively, or if this is not available in the short-term, can other measures be proposed to reduce speeding and improve safety conditions for all those houses in the four cul de sacs just off this new road in The Belfry and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

That the Manager would report on his plans, including the time-scale for works, to introduce new footpaths to provide further walking opportunities for local residents to walk the perimeters of Griffeen Valley Regional Park. In the case of the entrance to the park at the Lucan Sports Association on the Newcastle Road, Local Residents are restricted to walking on the grass and are caused great incovenience especially in wet weather. The lack of such footpaths is the cause of limiting the number of people using Griffeen Valley Park.

That the Manager would report on the final aspect of dishing works to be carried out on the footpaths either side of the main entrance to Buirg an Rí Estate in Balgaddy. The lack of such works is a cause of great inconvenience and restrictions to Local Residents, especially those who use wheelchairs and who push buggies and bicycles.
