That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive, given that the process to take in charge The Paddocks is progressing, to accelerate the delivery of a permanent permeable link between The Paddocks and Hillcrest, and to outline what is involved in delivering the link — for example, initiating a consultancy process with residents to agree on the provision of such a link and preparing to apply for funding from the National Transport Authority — and to provide an indicative timeframe for the project from commencement to completion.

That this Area Committee consider rezoning the unused land bordered by Knockmenagh Lane, St Brigid's Cottages and the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel to Green Amenity to facilitate a community space which could include a mini woodland, play-space, a heritage centre and/or another appropriate development to support the restoration of Knockmenagh Lane and further promote Clondalkin's rich history and heritage.

That this Area Committee directs the reinstatement of the correct historic boundary line at Knockmenagh lane's endpoint to its original width. Ensuring a continuous public right of way, compliant with universal design standards in the CDP (Policy SIT 1: Integrated Transport and Accessibility) and in line with KF3 of the Clondalkin LPF.
