That the Manager would report in detail on what Council facilities are available/will be available to assist horse owners in the Quarryvale, Clondalkin and Balgaddy areas? Would the Manager agree that the provision of such facilities by the Council will be of great benefit to those adults and young adults who own horses and who currently do not have facilities to accommodate their horses?
To ask the Manager, given the fact that South Dublin County Council has a population of 238,835, which makes it the third largest administrative area in Ireland & given the Garda numbers for Clondalkin Garda station, Ronanstown Garda station, & Lucan Garda station are currently at a strength of 81 , 80 & 70 members of the force respectively (statistics taken from the P.D publication, The Dublin Democrat Dublin Mid West Edition Nov.2005) which equates to approx 77 gardaí on duty per shift, what is the current number of residents within these Garda stations policing boundaries.
