That the Lucan-Clondalkin Area Committee calls on the Manager to take the necessary steps to ensure that a start is made in 2007 on the provision of library facilities, including a conventional modern Regional Library and e-Learning Hubs, to serve the residents of Palmerstown and the north Clondalkin area and to have regard to the long held expectations of residents in these areas in regard to the provision of library services.

That this Committee, in acknowledgment of the great interest in the care of horses and the lack of stable facilities in the area, supports in principle the provision of stable facilities for horses in the North Clondalkin and Bawnogue areas. Following local consultation, it is envisaged that 115 stables, 100 for rental purposes and 15 for the Centre itself, would be of adequate service to the area. That the Manager would agree to engage in discussion on this matter and conduct a feasibility study, the results of which would be brought for future discussion at a later Area Committee Meeting.

Specifically what works have been completed, and what works remain outstanding since the upsurge of Graffiti desecration in our community during the Christmas and New Year period, and what assistance has the Manager provided to Residents and Residents Associations where Graffiti damages has been caused to privately owned walls and lands.
