To ask the Manager to report on the assistance provided this year to Residents Associations, Environmental Groups, Tidy Towns Commitees and Individuals who have expressed interest in the Council's Tidy Districts Competition and what plans are being considered to further promote awareness of this project.
To thank the Manager for recently establishing the new Graffiti Removal Crew in the Council and for recently agreeing to include the Griffeen Avenue and Griffeen Road areas in the Graffiti Removal Programme of Works following my representation on the outbreak of graffiti in these areas. Would the Manager please give a time-scale for these works and also provide to this Area Committee Meeting a detailed works schedule for the Graffiti Removal Crew for the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas for this Summer period.
That the Manager would agree to revisit the issue of the lack of completed boundary fencing between Bewley Grove and Mount Bellew Way, an issue that I have made considerable representations on for some years now. The completion of the final section of this boundary fencing at the end of Bewley Grove is an objective of the local community in Bewley Estate.
To thank the Manager for agreeing to install new litter bins at bus stops on Griffeen Avenue and Griffeen Road following my recent representations in the interest of working to resolve our serious litter problems. Would the Manager agree that it is desirable to have a litter bin installed at each bus stop given the obvious advantages in having such litter bin facilities. In such circumstances would the Manager agree to undertake a survey of all bus stops in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas during the Summer period and report back by way of a Headed Item at the earliest possible Area Committee Meeting in the Autumn on the amount of bus stops which do not have litter bins in these areas.
That the Manager would agree to put in place a feasibility study to provide a Youth's Cafe in Lucan. Lucan's 1st Youth Cafe has been identified as a priority facility by many young people that I have been working with in the Lucan area, including the Students at St. Joseph's College, Lucan, who highlighted the need for Lucan's 1st Youth Cafe in the Young Social Innovators Programme this year.

"That this committee recommends that Whitechurch /Glenmore and Edmonstown Green area are included in the wider Ballyboden Village Plan as they have been omitted from the whole area to be included –i.e. as outlined in the submission made on behalf of the Bolton Hall Action Group - map submitted and to give details how and when this objective can be achieved."

To ask the Manager to write to the Fire Brigade Authority, requesting details of Fire Emergency Services requested in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas in the last year, including reports on what delays, if any, were experienced by the Fire Brigade in accessing these areas due to traffic congestion on our roads, and that the Manager would agree to report back.

To ask that the Manager to write to the Management of Dublin Bus and request details of the company's plans to enhance the bus service in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas. Due to the continued development in these communities and the increased traffic gridlock on our roads, an immediate part solution to our traffic problems is for a more regular and flexible bus service to be provided interlinking each part of the community and wider communities with each other as well as the city centre, the airport, industrial estates, town and shopping centres, colleges, schools etc.
