To ask the Manager to state the total number of houses purchased by South Dublin County Council for purposes of social housing in the Dublin 24 area over the past 3 years, a particular breakdown of where these houses have been purchased (i.e. the total number of houses in X estate), to set out the policy of the Council in respect of purchasing of existing housing stock in the second hand market, the total sum of money allocated for this over the past 3 years, and the factors involved before the Council make a decision to purchase i.e. price, location, etc., and if he will make a statement on the matter?

"That this committee discusses if it would be at all possible to move the recycle banks in Tymon park to the rear of the carpark as there is sufficient space there to accommodate them - and if access could be gained through the side gate to enable emptying as this is a shared entrance ie if internal area is too small - if measurments of lorry and internal area could be ascertained and available at meeting it would facilitate. The brilliant work carried out by the Parks department on the entrance to the park is totally negated by this 'eyesore' litter etc visible not alone to park users but to the multitudes of passing traffic."

"That this committee agrees that SDCC dispose of a small plot of land to enable FAUGHS GAA club provide an all weather pitch for their members particularly the children in the juvenille section. The said land adjacent to the clubhouse measures 9.14 m wide x 43.3 m (c.590 sq. m). That the trees there be replaced in the park to ensure there is no negative environmental effect on the eco system or biodiversity."
