To ask the Manager if Ballyfermot United Football Club have adhered to the planning permission in relation to their development on Cloverhill Road and in particular if the removal of the boundary wall close to the new entrance is authorised and if the location of the container type dressing rooms are permitted at this location and that the whole development is contributing to the general neglected appearance of the Coldcut Road which is a cause of frustration and depression to local residents who have a right to expect that the Council would have regard to their well being.
To ask that the gullies in the Palmerstown, Lucan and Quarryvale areas be inspected and where necessary cleaned. Some gullies are in a bad way and in the event of heavy rainfall will cause serious flooding.

While complimenting Management on the start that has been made in upgrading Kennelsfort Road, can the Manager explain if the commitment to consult with local residents still stands and if the provision of a flowerbed instead of metered parking (as per my previous motion) on the hard open space at the left hand side of Kennelsfort Road close to the pedestrian bridge forms part of the current works programme.
To ask the Manager for a report on the compliance of the developer with the Conditions set out in the decision of An Bord Pleanala to grant permission to Eleveden Properties Limited in respect of Planning Application SD05A/0274(An Bord Pleanala reference Number PL06S.21631) for a development on lands south of Tullyhall, Lucan and in particular if he will confirm whether the Council has approved details of materials, colours and textures of external finishes as stipulated in Condition 4?

To ask the Manager for an updated report on any progress made towards the building of an Enterprise Centre, with the Third Level Outreach Centre, in Adamstown, as provided for in the SDZ scheme?
Cathlaoirleach's Business Cllr G. O'Connell
That the Manager bring forward proposals that address congestion on Kennelsfort Road especially at the Coldcut Junction which could possibly be allievated by widening the junction to allow for a double line of traffic on the Ballyfermot bound carriageway, eliminate rat-running through Palmerstown Manor and by a redesign of the Cloverhill/Coldcut Junction and widening the Coldcut Road to accomodate a dedicated traffic lane leading to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and provide for more freeflow in both directions at these three inter-connected intersections.
That this Committee notes the decision to grant permission for Planning Application SDZ07A/001, and requests the Manager to make a report on Condition No. 5 of the Permission regarding the provision of Social and Affordable Housing, including details on the numbers and locations of such units to be agreed with the developers.
Cathaoirleach's Business Cllr. G. O'Connell
That the Manager report on the public consultation process involved in the Clonburris SDZ and Liffey Valley Town Centre proposals, including what took place at the pre-display stage and the current phase, and that the Committee consider ways in which the public might be encouraged to engage with such consultative processes leading to better informed decisions and a more enlightened public.
That this Committee recommends that South Dublin County Council develops an area for the use of quads and motorbikes.
That the Manager presents a report indicating when road access will be granted to all the bungalows in Lindisfarne Lawns, Clondalkin.
That this Committee notes the concerns of residents about the safety of pedestrians, particularly school children, using the footpaths and crossings between the traffic signals at Chapel Hill, Lucan and the Ballyowen junction on the Outer Ring Road, and requests that, now that the ORR road works are complete, a pedestrian safety audit be carried out on the pedestrian route between these two locations.
Cathaoirleach's Business Cllr G. O'Connell
That Mangement investigate as a matter of urgency the options available to this Council to recover the costs involved by the Council in maintaining laneways - including the access lane from Glenaulin Road to Glenaulin Park - that are in private ownership and that have been neglected by their owners to the great frustration and annoyance of local residents.
That this Committee welcomes the publication of the Lucan Village Design Statement, notes the references in the document to traffic congestion in and around Lucan Village and requests the Manager to progress proposals for an alternative route to the Liffey Bridge at Lucan for vehicles travelling to and from areas South of the Liffey to destinations in Fingal.
