QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

To ask the Manager to have all the new signs on the M50 and N4 checked  out to ensure that they are accurate and give ample and adaquate notice to drivers in relation to traffic lanes and that they do not contribute to dangerous and hazardous manoeuvres as quite a number of motorists have been observed reversing in traffic in order to switch to the lane (they shoud have been on) and to have the Irish version checked for accuracy and grammar.

The signage provided at these locations is in accordance with the traffic signs manual.

A review of the signage will be undertaken.
