That this Committee expresses its concern with the proliferation of "skip bags" being dumped in this area; that this Committee calls on the Council to write to all waste companies reminding them of their duty of care to the environment; and that the Council confirm whether action against the providers of "skip bags" may be possible under bye-laws or legislation in the case of dumping.
That this Committee calls on local people to support local jobs by shopping with local traders this Christmas, and asks the Council to publicise this call on its website and via social networking.
That this Committee notes the positive impact on the local community of the Mobile Library service, and requests a report on how the service is publicised and promoted locally.
That a report be brought to this Committee with details of (a) how many applicants on Housing List in Clondalkin Ward, (b) how many applicants have been housed on the RAS scheme, (c) future proposals for meeting housing need in Clondalkin area.
