That this Committee support the installation of bollards / trees at Lindisfarne Green and could the Manager provide a report.
To ask the Manager to outline council policy in relation to allowing residents to pay for services. e.g. is it 50/50 with the council? In relation to tree pruning, what would the cost be to residents? Can they get trees pruned from private companies elsewhere?

"To ask the Manager to comment on how changing the use of land on the site of the now defunct victory centre will impact on the County Development Plan, and can the Manager suggest possible uses for the land within current zoning objectives and also comment on the feasibility of locating the two proposed schools in Firhouse there?"

To ask the Manager to present a report on the quality assurance measures in place with respect to public realm work activities?
To ask the Manager for an update on efforts to develop off-road cycle routes throughout our County, including on a north-south basis, for example an extension of the Griffeen Valley Park green route, both northwards to Lucan Village and southwards to Corkagh Park, possibly via Grange Castle Business Park?
To ask the Manager for a detailed update on the preparation and presentation of proposals under the playground construction programme?
To ask the Manager for an update on the proposed feasibility study, in conjunction with SEAI, on the potential of introducing a pilot hydro-electric project on the Liffey?
Letters, dated 18/06/13 & 20/06/13, from Dundalk Town Council regarding their motions passed as follows:
(i) Implementation of the National Epilepsy Care Programme (18/06/13);
(ii) Passage of the Poor Relief (Ireland) Amendment Bill 2013 through the Dáil (20/06/13).
That this Council reaffirms the strategic importance of the proposed DART underground project and proposed electrification of the Kildare rail line to the future sustainable and economic development of the Dublin City Region; and in particular to the Lucan, Adamstown and Clondalkin areas of our County; and further expresses its support for the efforts of the Minister for Transport to prioritise these projects; and further requests the Minister to examine all opportunities to secure funding, including, where possible, from the European Investment Bank and from the EU noting this project's position as part of the Trans European Network (TEN-T) Belfast-Dublin-Cork Priority Project.

That this Council support the findings of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection Report that Local Authorities use funds from the local property tax to support a book-rental scheme for primary schools through their local Libraries and that this Council set up one pilot project next year.
