MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager investigate and present a report on pedestrian access which has been provided off Ballyboden Road into Edenbrook Court in Rathfarnham and to give a planning history to the site in question."

REPORT:

An extension to Edenbrook Court was granted under S96A/0159. This development comprised of 18 two storey apartments. The submitted plans included a controlled pedestrian access which crosses the Owendoher river and onto the Ballyboden road. Under SD10A/0101 permission was refused for a dwelling at a location adjacent to this pedestrian entrance. This location appears to be well established and maintained. The development in question is not in charge. At the time of reporting there appears to be no other access which matches the content of the motion.
