That this committee congratulates on its win of a Gold Medal in this year's National Supervalue Tidy Towns Awards and to thank them for their trojan efforts as volunteers in the community while substantial works ongoing in Lucan Village and surrounds and that a letter from this Area Committee will be sent to the Lucan Tidy Towns Committee to express the sentiment of this motion

That this Committee requests the Chief Executive to provide an update on the previously agreed motion to examine the lands adjoining the Lucan Scouts site and the Edmundsbury area with a view to their potential acquisition and future use for community purposes. That the update include details of any progress made in confirming ownership through the Land Registry and outline what steps would be required should the Council wish to proceed with the acquisition. Given the level of existing community activity in the area, including the presence of the Scouts and interest from local groups such as Lucan Men's Shed, it is important that this opportunity continues to be actively explored to enhance community facilities in Lucan.
"Can the Manager please give an update on the CPO proceedings that were initiated on the properties on the derelict sites registry in Tallaght? Please include when the owner was notified, the response from the owner, and what steps the Council is taking for each property.
"Can the Manager report on parking availability at Tallaght Stadium for Astro at Sean Walsh Park and can this be considered for parking for this?"

"Could the Manager please consider installing an area for small dog breeds adjacent to the dog park installed in Ballymount Park, Kingswood, Tallaght, similar to Corkagh Park?" I understand that the intent is that the dog park is for all breeds, but sometimes it's not safe to co-mingle small breeds with larger breeds, so residents are asking for a small breed space.

That this Area Committee request SDCC creates Satellite Architectural Conservation Areas (ACAs) around our other local heritage buildings (e.g. Fairview Oil Mills, St Cuthbert's Church, Moat and Graveyard, Mount St. Joseph's Graveyard, St Brigid's Well). Satellite ACAs were suggested by SDCC's previous Director of Planning for these buildings during public discussions preparing for the current County Development Plan. The 'conservation of built heritage' would help to promote 'employment, economic development, and tourism'.
3 Year Tree Maintenance Programme.

That the manager agree, implementing this plan, will lead to the repair of every pothole, crack, foot path repair, in the area of the framework, either within the next year OR, BEFORE any other traffic works take place
