MOTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

That the manager agree, implementing this plan, will lead to the repair of every pothole, crack, foot path repair, in the area of the framework, either within the next year OR, BEFORE any other traffic works take place

CE REPORT: 

Each year the Councillors and the Roads Department agree a roadworks programme to ensure a high-quality road network across the County. It notable that South Dublin County Council is responsible for the maintenance of 935kms of road network in South Dublin including that of the Clondalkin LPF area. The roadworks programme is determined based on agreed priorities subject to the level of funding available in the adopted budget. The imposition of a requirement linking an uncosted and undefined programme of road and footpath repairs in Clondalkin to future traffic works would adversely impact the delivery of the LPF. 

CE Recommendation: 

It is recommended that the motion is not adopted.
