That this Council Committee, noting the substantial new funding being received by this Council from the Non Principal Private Residence charge, the significant amount of rented accommodation in some areas of the Tallaght Area Committee, some of it substandard and the new responsibilities this Council has in relation to the condition of private rented accommodation in this Local Authority area, calls on the Manager to give an in-depth report on how this Council is enforcing and operating the new legislation in this Committee area.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the 15% of housing units currently under construction at Killinarden Heights to be designated Social as opposed to Affordable taking into account the Council's recent limited options in the delivery of 'New Build Social Housing'.
That this Committee requests a report on the structural condition of the Council owned homes at Marlfield Estate, Kiltipper, Tallaght.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for an inspection of all apartments on Avonbeg Drive with particular reference to the chimneys and gables where large pieces of plaster are falling off and the overall structure of the plaster appears to be disintegrating.
That this Council Committee calls on the Manager to give an updated report in relation the recent onsite meeting and the issues identified and solutions suggested in relation to Kilmartin Estate, Fettercairn,Tallaght and the lands alongside the estate.

"To ask the Manager to move the existing Water Hydrant sign at *Details Supplied from the grass verge to the wall as a number of people have injured themselves and it is considered by residents as a safety hazard?"
"To ask the Manager to clean the Lane of litter and graffiti between St. Patrick's Rd. and St. Peter's Rd. A large accumulation of litter has accumulated there and objectionable graffiti defaces the adjoining walls?"

That this Committee, conscious that the River Dodder flows through it's area and the responsibility this has on the local environment services, calls on the Manager to give a report outlining how often a cleaning schedule is carried out and the demands that presently exist along the riverbank and its tributaries.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide a report with respect to the placing on Council property such as estate boundary walls/fences of advertising banners/boards indicating for sale/to let information by estate agents, to indicate in the report if this practice is legal and if not what the Manager proposes to do in relation to this problem in the Tallaght area.
That the Manager outline the Council's policy on the provision and replacement of litter bins. Will he also commit to the replacement of two bins which have been removed. One was located at the bus stop on Kimmage Road West near St Annes and the other was also at the Bus stop at the Wellington Roundabout. Will he explain why both of these bins were removed and not replaced in recent months?
That a progress report on the Boherboy Water Scheme be provided with particular reference as to when physical works will be completed, and full reinstatement of roundabouts, roads, open spaces etc. carried out.
That this Committee call on the Manager to implement an immediate program for the removal of the " Free Palestine " graffiti that has been sprayed on many walls throughout the area in the last two weeks.
That this Committee agrees to call on the Manager to give a report outlining his precise proposals for this area in relation to the funding set aside in this years Councils Budget covering the area of the Public Realm.
