QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh 2009

"To ask the Manager to arrange a clean up of the Kilakee Road area of the Dublin Mountains in the SDCC area which is littered with a sofa and a number of computer screens and other detritus?"

REPLY:

It is intended to develop a cleaning schedule of the area in question along with a number of other areas in the Dublin Mountains, which are considered key scenic and tourist locations and which do not come under the normal areas covered by Cleansing Section schedules.  It is intended that this schedule will be compiled in conjunction with PURE (Protecting Rural Uplands and Environment) and will commence forthwith.
