QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh 2009

"To ask the Manager if  the Council would ensure that the nearby memorial to Noel Lemass is cleaned up which is badly overgrown and in a poor state?"

REPLY:

The memorial in question is not maintained by the Council and it appears that this memorial was erected and maintained on a voluntary basis.  The area is not part of the normal cleaning or maintenance schedules of the Cleansing Section.
