QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon

"To ask the Manager to have the windows replaced at *address supplied, given that they are in an extremely bad condition and that one of the occupiers suffers from COPD?"

REPLY:

The Council allocated €1 million for replacement of  windows and doors in the 2010 budget.   This work is being sequenced according to date of application, condition of windows/doors and clear rent account or keeping to an arangement to clear the arrears.  There are currently in excess of 600 applicants on the list.  The tenant is question is in arrears but has recently made an arrangement to clear arrears and if the arrangement is adhered to he/she will be put on the September window list for replacement.
