QUESTION: Councillor C. King

"To ask the Manager to arrange for the removal of the large amount of paint strewn around, the reinstatement of the missing section of railings and the reinstatement of the missing cappings on the retaining wall adjacent to the field at Avonbeg Drive as the unsightly condition of the Road is causing active members of the Community to become disillusioned with the Council?"

REPLY: 

The Estate Management section became aware of  anti social behaviour incidents at Avonbeg Drive last week .

The issue of the paint thrown on the road has been reported to the Council's Environmental Anti Graffiti Crew as the area will need to be power washed.

The Estate Officer for the area has already arranged with a contractor for  replacement railings and cappings and these should be in place within a few weeks.
