"That this Committee calls on the Minister for Justice to immediately take up the offer of a site for a new Garda station in Citywest/Fortunestown, to explore the possibility for funding this by the sale of part of the land in the Department's ownership in the Town centre and to award divisional status to the future City of Tallaght without delay."

"To ask the Manager to have arranged contact with the owner of the site between *details supplied requesting that he have removed the metal fencing which is encouraging youths to access the adjacent back gardens and is causing a nuisance to residents of the estate?"

"That the Manager gives a detailled report on the history to date of the long Planned Saggart Area Action plan, stating if progress has been made in relation to this and if not why not."

"That this Commitee agrees to develop a system that would allow members of the public propose buildings/sites of a historical and significant local value be protected under the existing legislation. That we facilitate a forum for these expressions to be put forward in order to compliment this process. That a pilot scheme be initiated in the Tallaght area within a defined time period set out following the adoption of this motion."

The Environmental Health Office have been contacted about the rodent problem. Can the Manager outline what action can be taken outside and within the remit of this Council?"

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide a report outlining in as much detail as possible at this stage what impact either positive or negative the proposed Luas extension to citywest will have on existing residential communities along the route such as Kilmartin Estate,  Fettercairn in terms of land aquisition etc."

"That the Manager indicate by way of a map which part of the site to the rear of Molly Heffernan's pub is in council ownership, that he gives a firm commitment to maintain this site by way of regular cleansing and securing the boundary, that he agrees to address the issue of people scaling the boundary wall into Russell Square and where that part of the site that falls within the remit of Kelland Homes to rigorously enforce any breaches of planning and environmental legislation."

"To ask the Manager to explain why there have been continous delays in opening the Hunterswood link Road between the Oldcourt Road and the Ballycullen Road as the continued closure of this road is preventing Dublin Bus and An Post introducing new services in the area and will he make a statement on the matter?"

"That this Committee supports the provision of additional "Parking for the disabled" in the Tallaght Village area and seeks the co-operation of the business community locally."

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to review the traffic flow arrangements in the Belfry Estate in Citywest recognising the consistent use of this estate for rat-running from the Blessington Road/Jobstown by speeding cars and joyriders alike - to investigate the feasability of closing off the estate to through traffic as has been done very successfully in other estates in the Tallaght South area."

1)that the wall bordering Kilakee and the Firhouse road upgrade is finished to the same standard as the newly built wall adjacent to Woodlawn.

2)that the wall is high enough to ensure privacy for adjacent residents.

3)that the noise and vibration disruption that residents have experienced due to the upgrading works will cease."

"That this Commitee agrees to install pedestrian lights at the site of the temporary bridge on the N81 with immediate effect to compliment the existing structure which is unsuitable for all users."
