Letter, dated 29/05/13, from Monaghan Town Council regarding their two motions passed in relation to (a) Making people of retirement age sign on the Dole for a year; (b) Calling on the Minister for Justice to review criteria involved in assessing applicants wishing to enter the State to ensure they do not have a criminal record.
Email, dated 14/06/13, from Ennis Town Council regarding their motion passed in relation to the prohibition of Hydraulic Fracking for the extraction of shale gas
Letter, dated 18/06/13, from South Tipperary County Council regarding their motion passed in relation to prioritising the introduction of Postcodes to assist the emergency services reach people in need.

Motions
That the Manager immediately terminates Cantour Equine Limited contractual obligations in it's implementation of the Control of Horses Act 1996
That this Council welcomes the CCMA report 'Supporting Enterprise, Local Development and Economic Growth: Analysis of Local Authority Activities for 2012'; and notes the work of certain local authorities in developing enterprise centres, as well as newer models of 'E Centres' and 'E-Work Centres'; and requests the Manager to examine the feasibility of establishing an 'E Centre' or similar model in this County, in particular in areas not currently serviced by an enterprise centre, learning from the models outlined in the CCMA report which seek to 'utilize existing vacant spaces in local towns' to facilitate "entrepreneurs starting their own businesses by providing e-working and 'hot desking' facilities at low cost in the community' and to provide 'a focal point in the town for the community to drive employment initiatives.'
That this Council opposes asking residents to contribute money, labour or materials towards road repairs
That this Council calls on the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to introduce legislation which will make it mandatory for spray paints to be kept off the shelves and if possible under lock and key. Also that persons wishing to purchase the products will have to produce identification and state their intended use.
In an effort to improve the lives and well-being of our deaf and hard of hearing citizens, that this Council calls on the Government to give official recognition status to ISL, Irish Sign Language
This Council requests the Manager to provide detailed report regarding the ASH scheme and to actively engage with Landlords and other relevant Agencies in its promotion with a view to creating a Register that potential tenants have access to
That this Council support the findings of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection Report that Local Authorities use funds from the local property tax to support a book-rental scheme for primary schools through their local Libraries and that this Council set up one pilot project next year.
That this Council fully opposes any new tolls in the South Dublin area.
That this Council expresses its dismay at the unacceptable delay in home adaptations urgently required for Tenants severely affected by deteriorating medical conditions. That the Manager provide a report on Grants acknowledged / agreed but no work has yet commenced
That this Council reaffirms the strategic importance of the proposed DART underground project and proposed electrification of the Kildare rail line to the future sustainable and economic development of the Dublin City Region; and in particular to the Lucan, Adamstown and Clondalkin areas of our County; and further expresses its support for the efforts of the Minister for Transport to prioritise these projects; and further requests the Minister to examine all opportunities to secure funding, including, where possible, from the European Investment Bank and from the EU noting this project's position as part of the Trans European Network (TEN-T) Belfast-Dublin-Cork Priority Project.
