To ask the Manager for an update on efforts to develop off-road cycle routes throughout our County, including on a north-south basis, for example an extension of the Griffeen Valley Park green route, both northwards to Lucan Village and southwards to Corcagh Park, possibly via Grange Castle Business Park?

Off road cycle routes currently subject to funding by the National Tansport Authority in 2013 in South Dublin County include:
The National Transport Authority have commissioned a consultant to develop a cycle network for the Greater Dublin Area. This will include off road cycle routes as well as 'Greenway' routes (such as the proposed River Dodder Greenway and extension to the Griffeen Valley Park Route). South Dublin County Council will continue to work with the National Transport Authority in developing and improving the cycle network in South Dublin County.
