To ask the Chief Executive if a timescale can be given for dealing with the overgrowth of foliage along the ditch separating The Glebe, Esker and Esker Educate Together NS, given that trees are now growing out onto the road forcing cars to park out further and causing issues with bin lorries and emergency vehicles?

That the Chief Executive examines current arrangements in Esker Meadow View regarding safer access along the road heading in towards the neighbouring GNP primary school and into the main estate; it has been reported that the current ramps are not effective in slowing down vehicles sufficiently and that improved signage is required along with other potential physical measures, in consultation with residents living along this stretch.
That the Chief Executive examines a number of locations on the Beech Park Green and in Beech Park estate (on the green beside the Orthodontist) for the placing of park benches, with allocation set aside in the 2023 budget funding regarding same, as this was brought to my attention recently by residents and a subsequent wider survey showed strong support for such installations.
That the Chief Executive examines and alters the surface of the Grand Canal Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge, Adamstown, to more user-friendly structure, as the metal surface can be slippy following rainfall for both pedestrians and cyclists alike, as one constituent who contacted me recently can testify, having fallen off their bike at this location.

To ask the Manager to give the committee an update on motions I put forward in relation to five year tree planting programmes for Greenhills, Perrystown and Walkinstown areas of Dublin 12, including an evaluation of the tree pit pilot conducted on St. Josephs Road.

To ask the Manager to contact Cairn Homes and Harcourt Developments in relation to a fence that has been left up dividing Cuil Duin and Edenbrook Estate, Citywest. The fence is being held up by 4 blocks of concrete that school children are jumping over to get to school which is a health & safety issue. Both Developers has been contacted and they have stated that this in the Councils hands. Can the Manager clarify who is responsible in removing this concrete blocks?

Report to confirm if the artists and Dublin Canvas were contacted in relation to this and apologised to?

That this committee calls on the manager to have the road signs in the Cypress Downs area of Templeogue inspected with a view to replacing them as soon as possible.
